Chris M Wanted a V-10

High mileage Porsche

Just come across this thread

... and that's no standard car either !

Good to see one that's not been pampered all its life but driven, and driven hard
Big Blue

Cool. That's what German cars are for and I'm often embarrassed that mine are rarely utilised.

Top man. That is exactly what a car is for - to be used. After all, it's a machine built to serve a purpose.

Saw that a while back and my immediate thoughts were, "how cool is that!"

Yeah that's right, a 911 is definitely built to serve as a delivery van

Seeing things like this make me feel even better about the Postbox. Beyond basic maintenance and necessary parts, I have done absolutely nothing to it but use and abuse it. I treat it as a van, a family lugger, a tow vehicle. I rarely clean it, I'm not even slightly fussed if I hit anything in it, I drive the living shit out of it most days and all it does is come back for more. It is genuinely, hand on heart, the best car I have ever owned.
Racing Teatray

Quite something.

I was thinking that the M135i hadn't done too badly with seven trips to the continent under its belt to date, but that's on a whole (and very distant) other level!!
PG

That is awsome.
