Good words in print out the FourTwo.

I thought that Simon & Chris might just miss good words about their baby in a car magazine.  Cropley, p17, including such pieces as:

'As usual, the controversial Smart (sic) transmission is fine if you take the trouble to learn how to use it, rather than presuming it works like a regular auto.'

The car's performance is described as 'quite decent.'

Both observations mirror my brief passengering in Chris's.

All in all, the best 'week in cars' I think I have read.
Frank Bullitt

Maybe I've been too hard on Cropley in the past

I haven't found a copy of this weeks magazine anywhere, perhaps a bit of smart-love has seen it fly of the shelves!
"him"

...or perhaps it is now in the "specialist section" as a result?

Just read it, strangely I hadn't got round to reading Cropley's piece. What can i say other than I agree with him.

Even now I can drive the smart and make progress in a series of jerks. At other times I am as smooth as a velvet lined codpiece. In short, just like a 'proper' gearbox you get out what you put in.

Thanks Simon for pointing it out, might of missed that one!
