G10 shots from B.H. Monday. The morning was dreadful, but the afternoon had one of the best skies I've seen in ages.
One thing I don't think is much cop about the G10 and that is its auto focusing, so this shot was taken in manual focus mode and I'm pleased with the full-size outcome - individual cells are visible.
Here's a crop as-is without sharpening.

You're right about the clouds - especially in the 2nd and 3rd ones - normally you would have to use a filter to get them like that.

I was surprised too. They were slightly more washed out, but that's only about +5-10 adjustment on Photoshop's highlight control at most.
I know my Dad and I were disappointed with it at first, but when it captures scenes that vibrantly, I don't mind the pictures being a bit soft. It's nice to have a capable camera with me at all times, too.

Hi Matt, some good pics, prefer #4 myself.

Would you like #3 if it had a different shade of blue car in it?

Ignoring the car and the cloud formations, number four has a stunning amount of depth made even more so by the tractor lines in the grass.

Those are tracks made by Matt dragging all his camera gear!
