Fuelly fuel tracking

I have the app and entered three fills so far. My trip computer reckons I'm getting 34.4...

Edited to get rid of the massive picture.
Blarno

The computer in the Aero reckons I'm averaging 31.6. My last tank was 30 dead, so not far wrong.

You're doing Imperial gallons? Only asking as I've made the same error before.

Erm, yes. The figure has just jumped to 33. Opps

I can't get Fuelly on Windows Phone, I'll have to try something else.
Michael

You can use it through the website so perhaps try that?
TreVoR

I use an app called Road Trip.

Glad my maths still works. 20% drop looked ominous....

Did a comparison over the past two tanks, first tank was ultra economical driving (in theory), no harsh accelerating, no over taking, maintain momentum as much as possible, achieved 63.2mpg. The following tank was completely normal driving, very comparable roads, 62.1mpg. I think I'll give up on economy driving!

Is the app free to use? Might be tempted to try it out of curiosity. My trip reckons I've done 50.5 on this tank which has been mostly used on fast A roads with a fair bit of start stop traffic. It's normally fairly accurate too when I've compared it against my fuel receipts so I'm intrigued to see how my petrol Golf compares when I start running it in a couple of weeks.
Michael

My revised economy figures.

Completely free, once you've set it up it takes a few seconds to log the details of each refuel.
Roadsterstu

Mine is doing 28 according to the OBC. I really see no point in tracking it. I'd rather put it to the back of my mind.
Michael

Typical copper, only collecting evidence when it fits his own narrative.
Roadsterstu

Me? Fudge the evidence? Nah. Just "lose" some of it.
Tim

I've completed 2 fill ups with the 320 and it appears that the trip computer is optimistic by approx. 5.5% - 46.9 vs 44.4 'real'.
PG

I did three fill ups and shows that my OBC is 5% optimistic. So I'm getting about 23-24 mpg. Then I forgot to input the data a few times and now I've given up. Life's too short.
