Fiat Punto EvoMy god they've ruined it.

That front end is a bit fussy and the old one had really clean lines but I still quite like it.

When I saw the leaked spy shots I thought it looked pretty terrible, but those shots are not half bad and it's still a looker. The interior looks to have had a major quality uplift and the black looks far better than silver.

Looks good, natural evolution of the Grande; hopefully the driving position is still good (as opposed to the Bravo which...erm...isn't)

Looks like they couldn't make up their mind which intake treatment to use above the number plate. So they used both suggestions.
Interior looks decent, although is that some kind of waterfall lighting above the passenger side trim?

Too right - why produce the best looking small hatch out there and then do this to it?
That's hideous!!
Whoever designed it together with whoever signed it off should be marched straight to the nearest Specsavers.

It looks like a Mitsubishi.
Maybe that's why they named it Evo.

Why do Fiat do this? They did the same with the perfectly attractive Mk 2 Punto. A classic example of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Save the interior an awful redesign, in fact hideous.

That sums it up for me rather nicely too

Agree with the ruined comments, which is a real shame as the GP was still one of the best looking superminis.
Why have they called it the evo? That's pretty naff.

To be fair to Fiat the original Grande Punto was quite a hard car to improve on, looks wise.
They haven't really succeeded here have they.

Also to be fair to Fiat, I think much of the front-end redesign is down to pedestrian safety measures.
But yes they have ruined what was IMHO the best looking car in its class.

Evo?
Where's the flame-spitting 400 Bhp turbonutterbastard engine and the inevtiable understeer that comes with it?

It's not as bad as the first spy shots made it look but it does seem overly fussy.
Interior looks better but I'm not sure they've got the shat nav screen positioned in the right place. It's clearly not blocking out enough of the view out the car to be in a usable place
