F1 Game - Britain

It's coming home, it's coming home, F1's coming home ... and with an excellent chance of a home winner. All you have to do is pick him and the seven drivers who finish behind him, and the ones who take pole and fastest lap.

Bonus question: the sum of the number of drivers running after one third distance (20 laps) and the number running after two thirds distance (40 laps). So if you think 18 drivers will be running after 20 laps, and 16 after 40 laps, your guess will be 34. Comprende?

Deadline: Friday 19 June 2359 GMT
BeN

Dammit, now we have to do Maths?

I seek to improve on my null points in Turkey...
Humphrey The Pug

Your fault BeN, you wanted more interesting bonus questions.
BeN

Yeah, I guess I asked for it...
Chris M Wants a V-10

More interesting bonus questions, such as.....
What colours will the chequered flag have on it in Britain? (one point for each correct colour)
How long will the race last (to the nearest 5 minutes)?
On how many laps, as started by the first-placed driver, will it rain?
Big Blue

So, is anyone going to dare bet against Jenson for pole, fastest lap and win?

Now you know my early choices.
Rodge

What will the increase in Brawn GP support be this year over previous years?
What lap will Barricello throw a wobbly?
Which driver will have the hottest pit girl?
How many drivers will talk to Brundle on his grid walk?
Gooner

We could be in the enviable position of having a British winner two years in a row. Imagine that happening at Wimbledon? Now we've also seen Vettel shown up as someone who only wins when his pit strategy works, I think Jenson will do it.

so:

Pole: Jenson
FL: Massa

1. Button
2. Massa
3. Webber
4. Vettel
5. Trulli
6. Glock
7. Barachello
8. Hamilton

Bonus

37 - though I might want to change my mind if the weather looks shit on the Friday before!

Time will tell but Ruby's pretty handy at Silverstone - he dragged the Godawful Honda RA108 onto the podium last year (while Button threw it into the gravel) and beat Schumacher at least once during his Ferrari years.
Eff One

Best get mine in early since I'm going to be there tomorrow...

Well, what a qualifying session. Vettel and Barrichello locked in a very exciting battle for pole.

Button was a bit of a surprise, being uncompetitive all day.

Hamilton way down in 19th.
Matt

Plymouth's city centre had F1 fever today - before they put out seats to make a seated area for Wimbledon viewers - and were offering the public a chance to do an F1 pit-stop challenge.

Humphrey The Pug

The Red Bull's are awsome, Vettel is 4-5 laps heavier on fuel than Button and also almost 0.8 seconds faster.

They will take some beating tomorrow.

What a slump I suffered.

I feel like Jenson Button
TimR

Christ how did I do that?
I was sitting yesterday afternoon thinking that I'd at least got 1 point for pole
BeN

It's tight at the top, and we have a new (old) leader!

Big TC

Hey Doc - any chance of the German GP round going up soon, as I'm going to miss it due to being on holiday. And as I'm now challenging for the lead (again!) I don't want to miss out....

I'm falling faster than Lewis Hamilton. I believe my British GP was worse than his.

Ditto, except in my case I half expected it.  What a race for Brawn and Button in particular, to suffer a setback; the home GP
