There were some huge accidents in the Porsche Supercup race this morning at Monza. Well done to Porsche Motorsport for building cars that allowed the drivers to walk away unscathed, but there were some incredibly lucky marshals as well not to get hit by more debris.

Monza currently looking glorious in the sunshine. For the F1, I do wonder if the searing temperatures will push people into a two-stopper as opposed to the traditional one stop strategy seen at Monza. Pit lane loss is severe, but its even more severe to lose pace like some were on Friday on heavy fuel.

I think those starting on the super soft compound will have an interesting conundrum. However, having such a dominant car gives you more leeway, and both Mercedes managed to use the harder soft compound and still managed to qualify 1-2 despite using the slower tyre in Q2. If that's not a statement in itself, I don't know what else is.

Result for Rosberg, keep forgetting Da Ham is better than Rosberg. Well, when it's going his way he is

Well that was boring!!

Once again, Ham makes a complete ham of his start, undoing all the good work of the week-end up until that point.  When will he learn?

Sadly it appears so. Doc has been absent for a while now.

Guess we'll have to write off this season...

I wouldn't say that I have lost interest but if we don't have the scores, it makes it all a bit academic

The scores exist, just not totted up. The bigger problem is that only 3 people played last time!

So the points are likely to be better for the non players unless the last of the three picked some howlers.

I'll put in a team for the next one, if it happens.
