F1 Game 2014 - GB

And so to the home of motor racing (as it says on the banner at the circuit entrance). Your questions:
-- who will finish in the top ten?
-- who will be on pole?
-- who will set fastest lap?
-- what will be the average speed (in mph) of the fastest race lap?

Deadline: Friday 4 July 2359 GMT

FFS Lewis don't you know you NEVER give up?
Until qualifying today I thought he could still win the World Championship but now I reckon it all belongs to Rosberg.

We'll see how he goes tomorrow but I think he is "shot" mentally.

Or, as it turned out, from not trying hard enough...

odd wasn't it!

It would be an interesting scenario if Vettel got a better start than Rosberg and lead the Grand Prix. Vettel had heavy-fuel pace in practice 2 that more or less matched Rosbergís long-run pace. The Red Bull does have a great chassis which pays dividends at Silverstone, and I donít think the lack of straightaway speed would see Rosberg just breeze by Vettel.
Scouse

Fuck me that was a big hit. Is it just me or did it look a bit odd? Kimi seemed to have it under control, his steering inputs and the fishtailing was getting smaller, then it just spat him into the barrier. Something to do withe energy harvesting bollocks maybe?
Martin

Yes, big accident, thankfully he looked OK and the reports are good.

Brundle believes it was a rain gulley that flipped the back end up and looking at the replay, it makes sense.

It's a long delay, ridiculous amount of time for replacing a bit of Armco!  It's typical as this is one of the few races I've been able to watch live.

Certainly looked like something kicked the rear of the car up in the air just when he needed it most.

Armco repairs always take ages. They ran the Le Mans 24H under safety cars for something like three hours the other year after a big shunt.

I think he was just too eager to get the power down again and got a big dollop of torque just at the wrong time - you are right though, he did nearly have it until his impatience got the better of him. It's maybe a sign of the pressure he is under for the poor results so far this season.

Cue the sound of words being eaten!

Great race, really enjoyed it, was disappointed when it ended.  The Alonso / Vettel battle was brilliant to watch.
gooner

Disappointed for Button, he wasn't far off a podium finish. Glad Rosberg had a DNF, I was worried he'd start running away with the title but now he's had some bad luck, it's evened things up with Lewis quite nicely. Should help make the German Grand Prix a bit more exciting.

Before today there had only been 8 races out of 19 so not sure why anyone would declare a winner. There will be a few more twists and turns yet (excuse the pun), I may even stay awake during a race!

47g, apparently, so yes a big impact.

If it had been on a motorway, it would probably be an entire day to replace. I think the Silverstone workforce did an amazing job to change that section so quickly
gooner

My biggie a few years back happened because the car that crossed the motorway to hit me had the bad luck to hit an unrepaired bit of central reservation. If that had happened today and an F1 car had ended up in the crowd there'd be some serious questions to answer.
