Don't buy a Nintendo DSi (at least not until you have seen t

I am not sure what Nintendo are playing at, but bad luck to anyone who has just bought a DSi!

Not only are there very few games that take advantage of the DSi, they have now announced the DSi LL

Not that will be easy to explain to someone that wants one for Xmas I guess, but I thought I would post this in case!

What's the difference?  Mrs M is keep to upgrade from DS to DSi.

Geek alert.

I haven't a mobile phone!!

I feel an urge to scrape my boots with it.

Recently got a DSi which I went for ahead of the regular DS because there was more supply and I wanted to future proof myself as much as I could. The camera seems to be the only difference apart from the slot for an SD card and some internal memory. Worth the extra £50? Probably not tbh but it was my mum paying for it so as long as she's happy with the price.

Fairly happy with my DSi, but then I got mine for £50 at pc wan - world.  I have the DSi plus the security pack and two of the layton programs, not bad for fifty notes.

How did you manage that?

Ive had a PSP and DS and sold them both as i never used them.  Great little gizmos but unless your sat on a train or something for hours a day i cant see the use.  I prefer to read.

I'm with you DC.

I've never really been into computer games. I used to play "Missile Command" and "Space Invaders" now and again down the pub but the only game I've played at any length at home is "Elite," which is a sort of space game, but I probably haven't spent more than 10 minutes playing a computer game for 10 years and I've never owned any sort of games console.

The youngest has a DS, actually I think she has two, I don't really see it as anything more than a kids console though.

Always wanted a PSP though but have never bought one but tbh I don't think I'd ever use it, I struggle to give the 360 a good session every now and then.

Last game thing I bought was a Sega Megadrive! Still got it and it still works as well.

Well long story short etc, pc wan- world were falling over themselves to sell me a pc.  The one, two which fell over within a week.  During the negotiation, I got a ton off a 26" samsung monitor, office 2007 and norton 360 v3 free and the dsi plus bits for 50 notes.  Sadly for pc wan- world.

I got to keep the extra's plus the two keyboard/mouse sets, one of which is wireless.

Not all bad then.  However, I got my new chillblast pc yesterday and am using it now as I type.  It is going back on tuesday, for repair.  Love these things.
