Citroen Turbo DS3

Saw this when I looked at the Mini Coupe link on the other thread.

Anyway - Citroen's take on a similar niche product:

I think it's quite nice - at least Citroen (with Mini) are pushing the style boudaries (again)
DarthBalls

Not bad that, I'm liking Citroens a lot these days. I'm even beginning to understand Skyhook's liking for the C2 Picasso.
Blarno

Too fussy for me.
Gurney

It is a bit fussy but still quite like it. Citroen still on a roll as far as I am concerned. Good to see.
Dr. Hfuhruhurr

It'll still be like a damp sponge to drive though. And I'm totally unconvinced by the C3 Picasso: it's just about acceptable in black as it hides the ugly plastic all over the front, but otherwise, non merci.

+1

+ shoddy quality - look at the tail pipes.
Grampa

I quite like it (in the dark colour at least) but I don't like them calling it a DS that should be reserved for something more worthy of a such a legendary name.

I agree with that sentiment. The DS monika would be correctly applied to the C6, methinks
Blarno

It's just a name...
Big TC

So's Coldplay

Ducks....
Blarno

Ah, but it's not the name I dislike.

It's the self important, whinging pissflap that passes as their 'singer'.

Don't you hold back, Iain - say what you mean!!
Frank Bullitt

Starting to see mini DS cues in the DS3 - they are subtle but there.

Put it on the list for my next car, so long as it drives nicely - a smooooooooth supermini, just what the doctor ordered.
cbeaks1

Try a Fiesta - tis very smooth.
Martin

I don't mind the looks too much, but it's very likely that it will be crap to drive and I've not been in a Citroen that has either a solid of quality feel.
Gurney

New C5 was a revelation when we hired one in Bordeaux. Not exactly an exciting drive but then this particular car wasn't meant to be. It was the refinement and massive leap forward in quality that impressed - indeed Germanic if not Japanese.

Still like the C6 (I wish they would upgrade the interior mind you) and this DS at least shows a bit of flair.
