Brace Brace, BMW or Porsche have introduced a new colour

Dear Subscriber,

Just a note to apologise that your subscription copy of the December issue of Car will arrive a few days late this month. We’ve pulled off another great exclusive under strict embargo, which has meant ensuring copies don’t sneak out too early.

You can expect to receive your issue no later than Thursday 17th November.

I hope you'll understand why we've held back posting subscription copies for a couple of days. Thank you once again for your patience and loyalty, and I sincerely hope you enjoy the issue.

Best wishes,

Phil McNamara
Editor, Car

Don't, I nearly chucked my copy of last weeks Autocar straight in the bin after seeing the front cover "9 new Alfas in the next few years, Alfas great revival plan" FFS, do they not get bored regurgitating this shit every 6 months.

The mid size one (I forget what they called it now) to compete with the 5 series, did look stunning though.

Ha, perhaps CAR have an exclusive on some of this and, importantly a big story on Alfa's plan to break into the North American market!

True. But what chance of it being built? They never followed up the 166.

Also, as Fiat have put Maserati into that territory with the Ghibli, it must commercially make more sense for Alfa to try and occupy the space beneath Maserati.

True, though the Giulia QV totally trashes the Ghibli, which makes Maserati's uneasy occupation of the middle ground more questionable. I think they need to do a much more thorough job with Maserati and aim it into the Bentley/Aston Martin market, and let Alfa clean up below 100k, i.e. against Jaguar and the German big three.

Unless Alfa do something as far ahead of the competition as the Alfasud was when it came out, they have as little change of cleaning up as the workmen refitting our bathroom!

So what was it in the end? For those of us who don't buy the mag...

Exclusive drive of the electric Jag, which I have to say looks bloody superb.
