As I'm not a fan of modern music, the only 2 I can think of that have been released this year are:
We Must Obey - Fu Manchu.
Long Road To Ruin - Foo Fighters.

As with most Foos songs, the video is a corker!

Monster was 2006, but did get its US release this year. Their song Raoul was re-released this year in the UK. I'd say it's better.

Gonna get slaughtered for it , but Take That(worst group in world) Patience and Rule the World were very impressive.
Loved The Adventure by Angels and Airways and my all time fave of 2007 was Aiden with One Love

I would concur. Apparently the person who does the shouty bits has left the band. This for me will make them more listenable.

I can't think of any coz i'm useless at remembering the song title let alone the artist. Really I am.
So probably anything by the Kaiser Cheifs, Hard-Fi, Pendulum, The Killers or Girls Aloud would tick my box not to mention lots of other stuff I can't remember.
Why do I have such a terrible memory for holding music trivia?

I liked Uninvited by The Freemasons.
The Foos latest (Pretender?) was pretty good.
In general though I rarely listen to much modern stuff unless it's by a band I already know or recommended by a friend as someone I'd like.

Patience and Rule The World are excellent songs. A good song is a good song, regardless of what genre it comes from.

Yay! At least I know I'm not wrong.
Regardless, the song of 2007, whether you like it or not, is that silly 'Umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh'. No other song was played more on radio.

She is well hot without a doubt. And talking of girls likely to have major hit singles soon - so is Duffy!
