Audi R8 vs Lamborghini Gallardo vs Dodge Viper Vs Ducati 999

It's not very often that you get to test such machinery let alone try them all out on the same day.
I found myself in such a position recently and thought I'd be foolish not to share my good fortune.
First impressions, the Audi is definately the best built of the three cars. The Gallardo is faster and the Viper is solid but has the build quality of a stereo from the pound shop.
The Ducati was thrown into the test as I'm a big fan and well, given the opportunity, I couldn't pass it up.

Now, I'm sure you're wondering how I managed to come across such cars, given that most salesmen in my local Ford garage would ignore me pulling up in an 8 year old BMW.

Simple really, For the princely sum of £4.00, I bought them all in the pound shop!
The cars are made by Bburago and are 1:43, the bike is 1:14.
I'm trying to get some half decent metal into the house for my son, his favourite at the moment is the viper, and he prefers it to his other, smaller cars- BMW 645, Porsche 997 Carrera, Nissan 350Z to name but a few.

I was messing around with the camera earlier and the pics are below.

I stand by my original assessment, using the index finger pushing method, the Gallardo is the fastest and the R8 is the quietest.
The Ducati is a mounted model and is very detailed for the price so I had to.

That Ducati is sweeeet!!  Not too sure about the metallic paint on the Gallardo mind, and the road surface looks well dodgy!!

Love that last one of the Duke though - very noir !!

I don't think that's a factory colour on the Gallardo. Maybe a Chelsea winger has had it resprayed to match his teeth.
