Audi Q2

Bob Sacamano

It looks exactly like a.....er.....Q2?
Nelson

it's a pumped up Polo with an inflated price to match and a hideous three quarter rear vision. Interior plastics looks shiny and cheap in places too. Not for me

Will sell in massive numbers though I suspect
PhilD

did they run out of paint?

much better proportions than the Q3. I like.

I doubt it - I just hired an A3 Sportback in Portugal and the interior was superb, both in quality and simplicity of design. This will match it.

Front end is a bit of a dog's dinner though.
Racing Teatray

Christ. It looks like one of those awful South American market-only things that VW likes to persist with.

Audi Gol anyone?

Terrible!

Have a look here, this is the pic I saw that lead me to my comment. The plastics atop the dash by the vents and round the HVAC controls and light switch look hard and shiny, and as for those on the door card, they just look wrong. Great design let down by the materials in my opinion

Agreed, A nasty looking car with some truly terrible details. The rear 3/4 looks a bit like a shit version of the last A3 3dr.

Just awful

Can't say the pictures of the exterior impress, however the one area I doubt audi will be let down my is their interior quality. No reason to think they'll cut corners with this.

That's not a photo though, it's a computer mock up. You can't go by that.

Ok, I concede that, but in this pic the plastics look smooth and shiny. It's semantics and little details though. Still wouldn't have on though.

I think you're seeing what you want to see there. Irrespective of exterior looks I guarantee what you will not be able to fault is the interior quality.

Actually, in those pics I quite like the dark C-pillar idea - more than the silver one anyway.
BeN

Not liking that at all. Looks a mess.
Giant

The Orange one in Nelson's link looks far better than the red one but it's not for me, although I'm biased based on the standards Audi set themselves with their last '2' designated model!

I think they'll sell these as fast as they can build them.
PG

To my eye that looks like a jacked up A3 (it must be the same size as an A3 as it mentions it is "smaller than the A3 Sportback"), so not far off what an A3 Allroad might look like.

It'll sell loads - people will want this over an A1 or an A3 hatch I'm sure. Despite the fact that the front grille looks awful in the Geneva photos. It looks slightly better in the studio shots.
