Oh dear, Hamilton fourth with a light Ferrari and Toyota on pole and second with his nemesis just behind him in sixth all leading into one of the tightest and exciting first corners on the F1 calender.

Should be an exciting race tomorrow, I'm really looking forward to it.

Yep, my thoughts entirely.

Here's hoping.

I half expect to see Hamilton come out of the first corner backwards on 3 wheels now.

I imagine it'll be quite a tense race for him as he'll probably be very cautious to make sure the above doesn't happen and it's quite possible that he could easily lose a shitload of places in the first couple of corners.

I think Hamilton has a tricky job, but not as tricky as some are making out. He only has 3 cars in front of him, which are probably lighter, so if he can stay in 4th, that would be fine.

And as a safety measure, he has Heikki to chop Alonso off at the start...

I'm looking forward to Hamilton lying 6th with Massa second behind Alonso and Alonso pulling over on the last lap to give Massa the title and then driving past the Mclaren pit giving the finger.......

But the probability is that Trulli will be a good Italian and ram Hamilton off the track.

And who says Massa has a light Ferrari? He is just untouchable around this track: see his last 2 races here in a Ferrari.  I'm more worried about the Fiat engine failing or the pit crew arsing it up.  Hamilton just has to drive round sensibly, which we all know he's good at......

Just what I was thinking - though thanks to the early first stops for dry tyres we'll never know.

...and if you saw the re-run on ITV4 on Monday, you would even have seen Alonso congratulate Lewis on being the best driver in 2008, and a worthy champion
