Bumble bee for when Mike gets in, surely?

That god-awful one on my 320i

If it were best, then I think the Carrera 2.7 RS Ducktail would have to be a very strong choice, as is the 997 GT3's, imo.

Whale tails on Sierras and the little spoiler on the Fiesta from a few years ago.  Naff.

I saw an Elantra the other day - made me laugh it was so bad.

But I have always quite liked the 'pram handle' and Audi TT spoilers.

Not keen on the one you can get for the Clio 197 either to be honest.

Surely you can't mean on pukka Cosworths??

I mean, it defines the car!

Now if you were paying attention at Haynes, you will be able to tell me how to spot which iteration the one in that picture is...

It's an RS500. It says so on the boot lid!

The Cossie whale tail, as Piers said, made the Sierra Cosworth. The Escort looked shit with it. The later small turbo model with the option to delete the spoiler was better.

I'm not a fan of the Cossie spoiler and I agree with Blarno that the more reserved affair on the Escort was far more appealing. Wasn't that for the Swiss market who didn't allow the whaletail?

It was available as a deletable option in this country. I've only seen a couple. The Escort looks even better with the WRC-spec spoiler.

Yes yes I know, but the RS500 also has the larger rubber lip on the whale tail and the smaller spoiler mounted on the edge of the hatch.

Ordinary Cosworths just had the one spoiler:

I'm in the minority who thought that the spoiler on the MkI Audi TT actually improved the lines of the car
