Saw this story in my daily Pistonheads emails:

http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=16852

and wondered, in relation to the picture therein, which car caused the incident. I think the Escort...

What do you think?

The Porsche me thinks.

Porsche rear ended the Citroen, causing the Citroen to go into the back of the Escort. If the Escort had caused it, I would have expected the Escort to be more damaged than that, whereas it looks like it has come of with very little damage.

It looks like the Citroen had a rear axle.

Porsche going too fast, smashing into the parked Citroen and subsequently the Escort.

I've changed my mind. I reckon it was the Escort . I think the AX would have moved the Escort forward if it was the Porsche's fault.

Or...

The Citroen overshot from a multi storey carpark, neatly landing between the two cars.

Certainly fits the story...

Citroen reversed close to the Porsche when parking and then the Escort driver sneezed whilst they were reversing and forced the lightweight AX up the front of the Porsche.

I agree. If the Porsche had smacked into the hind quarters of the AX, it would be much more smashed in.

It was the Escrot what did it.
