As mentioned in the General thread, this would be a feature I would be writing about my old Motoring mags. But as it is a title unfamilar to you folks, I guess I should give a brief rundown of the things that can be found in the mag. (It would be nice if Matt can sticky this)

Mostly I will be writing about the following articles:

News - As it says, news about new cars and developments

European Hotline - Back then, cars often took months to make it here after their European launch. This section is a brief report about cars launched in Europe before they make it to Singapore, just to keep readers up to date.

Previews - A preview of upcoming cars, or future technology.

Roadnotes - Brief one page reports, usually of cars that has had a minor change or a facelift.

Comparision Test - A regular feature, usually with three cars, with a standard format. Cars are reviewed on their Styling, Engines, Performance, Ride & Handling, Accommodation, Price, Equipment & Quality, and finally, Conclusion to determine the winner.

Reviews - Full reports of recently launched cars.

Features - Occasional special topics, like Motorshow coverage or discussion of a certain technology or trend in the motoring world.

Motorsport - Covers F1 and WRC

It has to be noted though, that this was the format of the magazine back then, and that Motoring now is vastly different. But I'll talk about it as we go along.

Meantime, enjoy the walk back into memory lane...
