They are nice cars if left alone (or perhaps with the engine replaced by an LS1)

Anyone referring to their car as 'juiced' needs... well you know!

Cheap postage though!

He must have been so disapointed when people only offered 6500 for it.

It's odd that he's selling classic car bits as well. He doesn't seem like someone who likes classic cars.

It tickles me no end that these mongs spend the equivalent of a whole street in Salford on modifying a car, then expect to get it back when they sell it.

Why would you even want to spend 43k on a frigging 13 year old RX7? Surely, the part of their brain that knows it didn't even cost that new must be unwired.

Probably a kind of orangey brown. All painted, mind. No cheap stickers.

Not like a friend of mine who's spent about 3 times the value of his Grale on maintenance. And he got a nasty suprise last night when he started checking the inside of his roof for rust. Strangely liberating to have you fears confirmed...I imagine.

Not sure out of you lot I could see driving around in this...not scamper spec enough for scamper, not fast enough or CO2 emitting enough for ALF, Racing already has a drop top, not enough cylinders for Piers-but would go very well with your "Job and uniform" and "him" would get beaten up driving this in West Cornwall for sure!

All I can say is, I'm even more glad I've bought a standard looking saloon...

What sort of idiot takes something with a relatively good market value (3.5k seems the norm for 318ti ones) as that and just ruins it? They clearly need their head examining, the mentals.

Someone paid 4000 when the auction ended. Won't be long before that's relisted due to non-paying bidder I reckon.

Quote:
This car is in fantastic condition for it's age but it is over 20 years old now and does have a few common faults which is where I will start. The front wings have rust around the arches which in my opinion would best be replaced. The trim between the headlights and bumper has had a bodge repair and could do with being replaced. The chrome on the corner of the passenger front bumper is wrinkled. There are a few small bits of rust, marks, dings and some lacquer peel on the body but overall it's in very good condition for it's age. The passenger wing mirror is broken but present. Some little git stole the headlight wipers. The speedo has stopped working but the mileage would only be about 100 miles higher than on the clock. The temp guage doesn't work but the car never overheats and the low speed on the cabins heater fan doesn't work. The previous owner gaffer taped the rear view mirror into place. Tyres are worn and wheels need balancing. The front wheels do catch slightly on the corners of the wings when on full lock and they do make the ride more bumpy. That's all the faults I can think of but most of them are just nit picking as I like to sell a car the way I would buy one.

So - basically, it's a total fucking wreck.

And chummy thinks he's nit picking !!!

I assume the 500 quid reserve is a joke of sorts.

I think the mere fact that the speedo doesn't work would probably classify it as a bit more of a nit-pick!

I have never understood people who do things like this to their cars. Why spend 3000 on a pint job and probably another 1000 on a bodykit on a car worth tuppence? Let alone all of the other crap fitted to it too.

Dodge Viper replica by the Fiero Factory.Amazing looking vehicle completed and SVA tested November 2004.Delivery mileage since constuction.Correctly registered with DVLA and stunning in White with Blue stripes and Black interior.18" Antara alloys.Manufactured using a 1988 fuel injected 2.9 Ford Granada donor vehicle.Automatic with power steering and ABS.All the amazing looks of the real thing but with much lower purchase and running costs.Cost well in excess of 20,000 to construct.Excellent value and as new.
