It sure as hell looks a lot like an ECC. But an ECC assembled by Lada.

I scoured the world for this challenge, but I didn't find a car designed by Volvo and built by Lada!

Oh I dunno - what about that Lada 2142 Ivan Erikshon - that looked like it might have had some Volvo in it at some point ...

It has the worst Bangle-butt in history, whatever it may be!

I actually saw something very similar once in Monte Carlo about 10 years ago. It was gold.

Hmm, something in my head makes it seem familiar. I'm sure there was some attempt in the 90s by the Checker Cab company to come up with a new New York cab. Is that it?

The more I look at it the more I'm convinced it's the same as the car I saw in MC, only a different colour. If I'm right, it has piggy little Alfa GTV headlights flanking a Volvo S80-esque grille. And plastic bodywork.

The glass house and huge front overhang reminds me of the Citroen C5 MkI.

I tried that! Didn't work for me!

Still it proves it is the car I saw in MC - look at the front. This one is even the same colour. I can attest that it's truly horrid in the plastic.
