Looking forward to seeing the story in tomorrow's Autocar, but do you think the XE will ever happen? and if so how far off is it?

They've learnt from Rover - It'll be a Tata Indicar with a leaping cat on the front.

I hope it happens. If the Boxster saved Porsche then maybe this can at least improve the cash flow of Jag. I don't think I'll ever pay £30k+ for a car again but a few years ago a Jag like this would have tempted me and I'm sure it'll tempt lots of people. I hope they make it and I hope it's a roaring success. Good luck to them.

I hope the XE happens and that it is a family of cars from 4/5 door to 2 door "F type". But at £40k i'd still say it will be to expensive. Why compete with an XF?
