Easy to find in a car park.

People are passing with boat trailers etc so I always park virtually touching the wall to leave the max passing room.

It's when your car is featured on a new report surrounded by white overalled Scenes of Crime officers - that's when you're famous.

Not many strong Welsh accents in that video. How come?

Pembrokeshire and particularly Tenby not a place for strong accents - if you hear a strong Welsh accent you can pretty much reckon they're not a local.

Nearly everyone in the programme is a friend (the lady who works in the pub is the only one I don't know) and most are Tenby born and bred - the exception being the harbourmaster and the guy running the fishing trips boat who's from Cardiff which you can tell within about the first three words you hear from him.

One of my father's cars was blown up in an episode of some TV cop show in the early 80s.

After he'd sold it to the TV company I hope!

I sold a car that was in a Direct Line ad; we lent (for a price) a Megane and a Grand Scenic to the production company when they were filming at Shepperton Studios, I subsequently sold the Scenic to a friend.

Spotted myself in the trailer for the next episode - manning the hose at 0:04 (the one with glasses and hat), and my son-in-law right at the end with the hose who seems keener to wash someone else rather than the car!

I absolutely hate being filmed, on Renault launches there is always some idiot with a camera running around wanting your thoughts etc, I try my best to avoid him.

Renault were filming at our garage a couple of years ago; some bullshit propaganda thing about how great the training is and how great Renault are so it can then be shown back in France to the head honchos at conferences so they can pat each other on the back with what a great job they are doing, I flatly refused.

Episode 2 aired last night... with a couple of texts received: I saw you on telly - still seems to cause excitement even in these days of new media.

http://www.itv.com/walesprogrammes/also-showing/the-harbour-episode-2

In case you're wondering - no, I wouldn't let us wash my car! - and I get the piss taken saying things like, "we wait whilst you do the inside of the wheels or gel the types."

Fortunately I didn't spot the camera - looks like it was filmed with quite a long lens.

Gramps, are you RNLI or a fireman or just jump at any excuse to grapple with a big hose?

Watching the first episode with the sun glinting off the water and the row of pastel coloured houses I thought how idyllic Tenby is. Seeing it the raining in this episode I'm not so sure!

RNLI - not a crew member but a DLA - I have one day a week where if a lifeboat is required the coastguard pages me to describe the situation and ask if they can have a boat.  I'm also a safety adviser, a CSO (RNLI loves three letter acronyms) - do talks to coast users about what they should do/take to stay safe and visit boats to advise on carrying appropriate safety gear, how to maintain their lifejackets etc.

Idyllic views restored with episode 3: http://www.itv.com/walesprogramme...and-country/the-harbour-episode-3

Mrs L makes an appearance too, albeit very briefly and out of focus!

Plus a brief glimpse of a house we get a few days away in (very special location) if we're lucky

I'm sure a fire hose makes a rather effective power washer. Although I'd worry that you'd actually dent some cars at that water pressure.

I thought I recognised it! Have you all been sworn to secrecy since the summer?

No, just forgot about it - there were far too many witnesses to the filming for any hope of the producers being able to keep it a secret.  I must go back onto the island and look for those secret underground rooms though!
