Got into the taxi (clocked as a Mondeo Zetec Tdci as I approached) this morning at Dublin airport to be met by dark red / plum coloured leather seats throughout and the same colour leather inserts in the doors. It totally transformed the interior. I can't see this on the Ford configurator as an option. The car also climate control, so maybe it was an accidental "special".

Well, whoever accidentally got this done at Ford needs a promotion.

The only red interior I can remember was Infra-red Recaro in the ST220.

Was it a current model Mondeo?  I have seen red leather in the previous model, but not the current model.  I think climate is standard in the Zetec.  Only the NFG basic Edge has on/off air con.

Seen it a fair bit in the ST220. Nice car, must buy one.

Very odd - I doubt its a straight swap, so cab-man must really love that interior.

What, for people who think the Mondeo's residuals aren't bad enough?

A few of the Audi A3s I look at on AT have interiors like that. One of them was green on the outside ffs. What sorted of warped mind specs green with red leather?!

The back button gets very rapidly clicked, I can tell ya!

I've never seen a ford with any 'Individual' option but some of the pics on the net aren't too bad.

For many on hear the choice of another alloy apart from the Y-spoke (snowflake) would be a plus.

I like green with red leather.       It is a classic combination, often seen on old Bentleys, Alvis and the like.

There is a saying:

"Red and green should never be seen without some other colour in between."

Kuga, S-Max and Fiesta too. All online if you want to take it all in.

I had red leather in my black Alfa GT.

The only combination I would've chosen.

Sometimes there are different colour/trim combinations here then there are in the UK.
I remember seeing an Alfa 159 in a dark metallic brown just after it was released and finding out that it wasn't available in the UK. I haven't seen any like it since. It was a cracking looking car too.
