Occured to me during the shower (Don't ask, it's my think zone), as the Top 5s get used less and less, and RDQ slowly disapears, how about this?
Anywho, get the ball rolling:
Napoleon Dynamite
Personally, I can't say I like it, it's supposed to be hillarious, but the only bits I laughed at were when he broke the ramp with Pedro's bike, and threw oranges at his uncle. _________________ Ode to Mr. B, Mr. C, Mr. W and the Northstar. |

Never seen it. It strikes me as one of those geeky, cult films that people in tight, skinny jeans and Converse trainers rave about.
Ergo, I'm not interested.
Plus, you get wankers wearing 'Vote For Pedro' t-shirts. Cocks.... _________________ Arms held out, in the Jesus Christ Pose. |

I own Napoleon Dynamite (on bootleg DVD) having been persuaded to get it by a usually reliable friend whilst out doing a weekly raid of the DVD-stalls at Ismailovsky market. However, I've never actually watched it - the cover and premise doesn't inspire me with desire to watch it. _________________

It's uneventful, slow paced and just a bit ditzy. I love it. _________________

There was so much hyperbole about it I eventually watched it before I binned Sky Movies.
I was utterly indifferent to it. There may have been a couple of funny bits, but my expectations had been high, and it failed to deliver.
Ref the jeans and shoes - I hate them too, in a big way. I would bet that less that 0.1% of the population can pull off skinny jeans. Women's fasion up here seems to be ill fitting skinny jeans with saggy backsides combined with Ugg boots.
I'm sure they are slippers rather than outdoor shoes. |
