In what possibly conceivable scenario can a Dino priced like this be an investment opportunity? Bath time is the only thing I can see.

And an Ideal opportunity at that.  There's a chap who's been trying to flog a set of plates through Autocar's classifieds under the IIO banner.

If something was an IIO, the obvious question is 'then why are you selling?'

It's a shame the FSA can't regulate these investments.

Or the FCA, even.  Though based upon the reign of Hector Sants, that'd be about as useful as the proverbial chocolate teapot...

And the worst advert for a car like this ever.

Any details of work carried out that makes this the investment of a lifetime

A few years ago they were 200k odd, a few years before that 100k.

The advert is almost right, this was an ideal investment opportunity in 2007!

Lovely cars though.

The old man had a Dino GTS way back when that was he paid about 40 odd bags of sand for and thought he had the deal of the centre when the dealer offered him the same money he paid 2 years earlier. I take great pleasure in showing him the classifieds in the back of Classic and Sportscar magazine when he comes over.

I love the way it is 999,995. As if that 5 makes all the difference. Or is the fact that in a few years it might be worth 1million the investment opportunity then?
