Does the Basket come with matching cases?

I presume the Deca Deca is for those families who habitually drive wearing top hats.

That's quite a narrow niche, I would like to see their business model on that one.

And more to the point, how does it handle? Is it fun to weave through a sequence of bends.

Surely the Deca Deca was designed exclusively for Metal Mickey and his family?

I think the Basket would make the ideal Greek holiday rental car.

I don't know why I just do.

Are Dihatsu quite a major brand in Japan then?  Only ever been an oddball brand over here really.

Not really. They rank among the niche makes like Subaru and Suzuki.

Major ones are Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Mitsubishi.

Daihatsu is majority-owned by Toyota so, although a minor brand, it has a bit of clout behind it.

I expect the Basket trugs along nicely.

Fuck me, they're a weird lot, the Japanese.

They showcase all this acid-induced craziness, then build the Carina....

They're truly wacko. Sterile at work, absurd at play.

Just look at their game shows.

I'm another fan of crazy Japanese designs and K Cars. The Mitsubishi Dangan ZZ, Suzuki Cappuchino and Honda Beat were my favourites.
