That is...........err...........unusual. I don't necessarily dislike it but I am glad in a way it would never get through type approval with all those sharp bits. _________________

I think they look fantastic, especially the first.
Not based in reality at all, but as concepts... they look like they are moving standing still, almost mid transformation.
Great stuff. _________________ Sleeping is giving in, no matter what the time is... |

So do the flaps open with the inertia of braking or do they open to assist with braking?
Nice to see radical concepts - the problem with seeing 'production' concepts is they look great, then you see the final thing and the best bits are always removed, or they dumb it down so much such as Iosis-Mondeo and it's a complete disappointment. _________________ Andrew L |

| Pointless tat. Given current (let alone future) pedestrian impact legislation such an idea has to be a total non-starter, surely - in which case why pursue it at all even for a project? |

Surely the whole point of the more radical concept is for designers to explore areas outside their normal day to day restrictions - chances to design more freely enhances creative thinking for real world projects. _________________ Andrew L |

Maybe having flexible 'fish scales' as aerodynamic front wheel spats is an idea which can be persued. The rest is pointless and odd.
I cannot help but raise a smile at the lengths to which designers apparently have to go to create something more shocking than Mr Bangle's creations. _________________ "Whatever is rightly done, however humble, is noble." Henry Royce |

I dunno; have you all forgotten what it was like to be 12? Don't they make you smile (in a good way) just a little bit? _________________ Sleeping is giving in, no matter what the time is... |

Yes, I'm all for mad concepts personally, especially from young designers. |
