Apparently in trouble with the NZ Police for posting photos of riding a Harley whilst using his mobile phone. Like most teenagers the addiction to his phone later got him in to trouble in a NZ Casino when he tried to use it at the tables (even I know that's not allowed and I am maybe in a Casino once every 5 years!)

Power and money corrupt. It's a shame because he was quite humble in his early days.

A friend used to work with him. Generally he was despised in the work place. Certainly not a team player. Kimi was a genuinely nice bloke though so got preferential treatment.

I'm sure he'll be bricking it.

Truth is Hamiltons a wanna be gangsta from the ghettos of Stevenage. He's new money and probably doesn't know quite how to fill his day in his rather odd lifestyle mix of corporate merc man to Drake 2.0.

Rosberg he ain't

Just when he was getting people on side a bit he starts being a dick again. Will he ever learn to just be cool.

A friend worked for McLaren in the Hamilton/Button days; Button would mix with everyone and was extremely approachable and willing to talk and spend time with anyone, Hamilton would keep well away and was generally known as a bit of an arse.

No I actually meant it - humble for a racing driver needs to be viewed in context though: they have to have that slightly arrogant, invincible, best of the best attitude if they are going to succeed - they just don't need to be a prat at the same time, which is what he seems to be turning in to.

He has a pretty viable following but mainly among the the young fans and also embittered little Englanders that are happy to see anyone win other than a German. His social media presence is a great source of comedy as he thinks he is cool when he is actually a supreme dickhead of previously unimagined proportions.

As a race driver and competitor he is easily in the top 1% and in terms of managing his career moves Alonso might want to take notes. As a person he is probably at the very bottom of the list of people you'd want at a dinner party, lower even than Piers Fucking Morgan.

Some interesting stuff about his social media stuff in here (though reading this and other telegraph pieces it's pretty clear they don't like Hamilton!)

Oh I don't know, I'd invite him and Katy Hopkins and sit them next to each other for the entertainment value.

I can't stand Katy Hopkins, but I did find myself agreeing with her over the Sunderland Adam Johnson thing.

I agree with her on most things, I also like the way that she isn't scared to voice her opinions and is more than happy to take abuse.

Isn't she the daft bitch who criticised some parents for naming their kids after places yet has a child called India?

I've never actually seen her in action......
