What you think is a classic, lets leave the other thread for 'What makes a classic'

A Morris Minor - just opened the garage door.

If I had the keys to my neighbour's garage I could also see a MkII RS2000, and until recently I could see a MkI Golf GTi across the road.

The Golf GTI wouldn't have been out when Sam Tyler went back...
Yesterday - a pale metallic green BMW M635 CSi. Very nice.

A Renault Avantime, outside my door. On my ride to work I regularly see a barely-held-together Citroen DS and a Rover SD1 being devoured by shrubbery.

Pardon my ignorance, I've never watched it...

Didn't the Golf GTI come out in '74 though?

Matt, the original Golf appeared in 1974 but the GTi didn't come out until it was shown at the Frankfurt show in late 1975. It didn't reach the UK until 1979 though.

Immaculate 'B' plate Granada 2.8i Ghia X - good thing it has a wide bootlid to fit all that badging in!

Also a not too scruffy Mercury Grey XR2 on a 'C' plate on steel wheels which still had their original trims.

A few moments ago someone had the decency to pull up right infront of my office in a pristine Bentley S3. After a few moments he burbled off. I then gave my office staff chapter and verse on why we need to sell more houses so that I can go out and buy a similar Bentley for myself.

Mark 2 Ford Cortina, in the dreaded Silver Fox, trundling along the M27 this morning........

Also one of those funny Scimitar sports cars from the 1980s.

Volvo P1800 in light blue, progressing west along the M4 this morning.

Not sure that the pink Nissan Figaro counts as a "classic"?!! but I saw one of those, too.

Porsche 356 cabriolet. It looked absolutely spotless in silver, and was very striking in the bright morning sunshine.

I saw something yesterday, and have no idea what it was. It had no visable badges on the back, the the badge in the grill was too small to see.

And we all know how good I am at describing things but here is goes!

It had a similar front end to an MGB, but not quite as sculptered, i.e. the front wings were quite as prounced. Chrome grill, quite bluff, chromed bumpers I think. It was about the length of the Focus, maybe a tad shorter. The back was more like a Jag E-type FHC. That was the weird bit. It was 2 door, seats set towards the rear more than the front. The back was fairly flat horizintally, i.e. no curved rear. I can't remember the age, but it was post 1960's I think vaguely. Headlights were sat in the end of the wings.

I have no idea what it is, does anyone else have a vague idea what it could be from what I am wittering on about?

Nope.
That white DS again.
In pics, I always thought the DS looked a bit ugly, but in real life it's amazing.

Been in France for the past few days, so several different sightings.

Today it was a slightly tatty Peugeot 604 parked up in a car park near to where my colleague had left his (rented) 207.... guess which car I preferred?

Yesterday, an immaculate Peugeot 304 Berline on one side of the street and a 403 Pickup on the other.

On Sun, at the "auto brocante", along with the museum cars, there was a Matra Murena and a particularly immaculate Simca Ariane, which had a gloriously rumbling V8 engine.....

Tatty, white DS that I've seen a few times now. Even in that condition, it knocks spots off the E Type from yesterday.
