Full road test of the TT RS

Seems the times in EVO weren't a fluke - they really are that fast
0-100 in 11.4 with a ss1/4 of 13.3 @ 109. Not especially light at 1490kg either
Able to beat the Cayman S in the dry and match it in the wet on the handling circuit

Got a comparison of the Murci SV against the ZR1 .
The ZR1 does does look pretty nice on the outside ( although I don't like the polycarbonate bonnet panel ) and it would be good if they could do an interior like the Lambo's

Doesn't surprise me: the same power as an E46 M3 but the best part of 100 kg lighter.

Regarding the ZR1, photos to tend to flatter the Corvette: when I had a chance to look at some real ones, I was shocked to see how cheap and kit-car-ish it looked.

I think the new RRS interior is perfect: a bit smarter than D4 and a bit less fussy than the RR. If I needed a 4x4, I wouldn't consider anything else.

Just read the online review of the TTRS. 3 stars? Seems harsh - sounds like a great car to own, just not the last word in dynamics, 4-stars surely? Perhaps they are applying a harsher rating nowadays.

I had a look around one while being raped for £30 for a radio key, and apart from the stupid rear wing it looked good - but I know what you mean about Audi S-Line styling. They need to go a bit more curvy and subtle and a bit less aftermarket tuned Vauxhall.

I completely ignore Autocar's (and everyone else's) star ratings: as a guide to a car, they're about as useful as Top Gear's Cool Wall.

The Cool Wall is in some ways more useful, as it is a subjective analysis and most people buy things for subjective reasons.

However, everyone has different opinions, "objective" and "subjective", making any ratings difficult!

I was hoping the red TT that had apeared in the stealer's window was an RS, but after a longer passing glance it is only an S at best. It has RS4 wheels

in gunmetal.

I think TT S-Line gets RS4 style wheels.

The worst TT RS feature, the spoiler, has been tacked on to a 2.0 T-FSI at my gym, ruining a pretty car. Revolting.
